VMS Update
Booking a tee off time via the web site is now available click HERE for instructions
Our first week using the new Virtual Management System (VMS) App went pretty well. There were some registration issues due to dual email addresses which were quickly resolved but most members were able to book times for general play and enter the December medal.
The check in process for the competition was smooth either by members using smart phones or Professional, Alan Logan checking them in when entry fee was paid.
Most members used the iPad to input competition scores with Secretary, Alan McCabe and Handicap Convener, Alan Kelly showing members what to do. Scores were uploaded successfully to the Scottish Golf Central Database of Handicaps (CDH) and members handicaps updated immediately. The competition was closed and scores and the full result is showing on the App.
– Enter competition on Tuesday morning via the App or iPad in the Clubhouse/Pro shop.
– On entry, select the competition tee time that matches the previously booked general play tee time.
– ‘Check-in’ to the competition to enable score entry either via the App or iPad entry facility in the Clubhouse.
4 ball play is allowed in the Tuesday Stroke and that not all players from each tee time require to enter the competition.
Alan Logan will be on-hand to assist with score input via the iPad in the Clubhouse on completion of round if required.
